“When You Have To Disagree”

You can't expect to agree with every customer 100% of the time.

You are bound to run into the situation where a buyer will make a statement about your product that is completely untrue.

When you have to disagree with a customer in a situation like this, you can avoid an argument by not rejecting his thought outright.

If you comment on it as if you think his statement has merit you can give your rebuttal without antagonizing him.

For instance, you might say: "That's an interesting idea the way you explain it, but did you ever think of it this way?"

Then you can go on and show the customer where he's wrong without actually saying that he is.
