Sales Training Coaching Idea…
…. “Use Paper and Pencil as Attention Getters”.
A pad and pencil can be your most important props during a sales presentation.
As you talk about your product or service features, you take out your pencil and paper and write down your list of benefits.
When you finish with your list, ask your prospect to scan the list and identify to you which features are the most important to them.
From their comments you can then show him, with your pen and paper, how they will benefit them personally...maybe in money terms or other ways.
This method helps the prospect as he sees the presentation developing before him and also gets him involved in the process.
A prospect is more likely to believe what is pointed out to him in black and white.
Use this sales training method to get greater involvement by your prospects.
The more you involve them in the sales process the more likely they are to say “yes” at the end.
